The terms for using onxtra.com, written to be read. Consulting work is governed by a separate written agreement.

What this site is
This website tells you what Onxtra Consulting does and gives you a way to contact us. That's all it does. There are no accounts, nothing to buy, and nothing to download. Onxtra is an Ontario, Canada company based in Toronto.
Reading isn't hiring us
What you read here is general. It isn't advice about your systems, and it isn't a promise that any system, yours or anyone else's, is secure.
When we do assess or build something for you, it happens under a written agreement that spells out scope, fees, timelines, confidentiality, how we handle your data, who owns what, and who is responsible for what. If that agreement and this page ever disagree, the agreement wins.
Using the contact form
Tell us the truth about who you are and what you need. Please don't send confidential documents, passwords, or personal details about other people through the form; once we're working together we'll set up a secure way to share those.
The form has automated checks and rate limits to keep bots out. Don't try to get around them.
Please don't
- Test this site for vulnerabilities without asking us first. We would genuinely rather you asked; it's our line of work, and we'll say yes to a reasonable request.
- Copy or republish the site's text, design or logo.
- Use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse something we haven't.
Printing a page or quoting a sentence while you decide whether to work with us is fine.
Other people's sites and services
We link to other sites and rely on a few services to run this one (they're listed in our Privacy Policy). We don't control them and can't answer for what they do.
The part a lawyer would want
We keep this site as accurate and available as we can, but we don't guarantee it. Onxtra isn't responsible for any loss that comes from relying on something you read here, or from the site being wrong, unavailable or changed.
None of this limits anything we've agreed to in a signed contract with you, or any responsibility the law says can't be limited.
Ontario law applies to this site, along with the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario, and Ontario courts handle any dispute about the site itself.
If we change this page
We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Using the site after that means you're okay with the new version.
